What you are saying wont work does indeed work in HnH with non of the problems you mentioned. To say this is stupid is well retarded as ***** since you are ignoring why this wouldn't actually work.

Unfortunately it wouldn't work with game due to how it has been set up with the shop, need for NPCs, other fun parts of Boston and her outposts. It would also be much less newbie friendly. There is a big need for the town on a base mechanical level. I think it would be a fun experiment to have on a future expedition.

it works in haven hecause it is a different game with a different atmosphere, mass transit capabilities, smaller map and larger population. no ports and no central hub would be disastrous in this game.

HnH 2 map is actually same / bigger than salem's map

Most of the "lack of" mentioned here is due to previous/current dev lazyness.

havent played the new haven so just commenting on my past experiences with the various worlds, but if crossroads are still present than that is also a huge contributor as to why it works since they are essentitally the same thing as "ports" only better since you can make them wherever you want.

same as darwoth, haven't messed with hafen yet, but in legacy haven you had basically unlimited unrestrained porting with village oathing.

yea, crossroads were good... but they are removed now along with village idol TP

xroads are now gone and oathing does work like that
