Winter!

Postby dinoxx7xx » Fri Nov 27, 2015 7:45 pm

Brr... it's cold in here! There must be some winter in the at-mos-phere!

There should be winter like bloodmoon, on winter players slower walk and their biles start going down.
Players would also be able to craft Winter Scarfs (in colors), Winter Hats and Winter shoes.

well, on that note, I think there should be a summer and winter season, since we already have fall and spring. Maybe a harvest moon season as well? sort of like the reverse of a blood moon, like a serverwide day of peace that restores sanity and boosts the yields of fields further than everbloom along with providing bonuses to crafting and production activities?

Yeah... i like the idea of a full season ( all 4), and an harvest moon as reverse of the blood moon. I like it.

Salem is in a perpetual autumnal season and the Coldsnap and Everbloom are meant to be natural weather variations of the season. If we were to add real seasons, we'd have to change most of the biomes and remove the Autumnal Forest entirely.

And what do you think about adding heat and cold buff for biomes such as desert and mountain?? That can be stopped with proper cloth and hats....

Well you got suspension of disbelief. I'm sure players can ignore the fact that they are crossing an autumnal forest during the spring. Another solution could just be to rename Autumnal Forest or just find a reason to why there could be autumnal forest during Spring (witchcraft, etc).
