Well I mean I'm just curious. My main base section has them layered like that.

Because makeshift nukes the whole fence gate to gate with one hit.
If you want to put something on that one tile that counts, place TPs there and in between them wooden boxes, ore boulders or those super-slow-to-carry 100 lime boulders or or or... everything is better than a makeshift fence.

I know a place that needs Belling over... given it a lot of thought. Kinda expensive for a bunch of canoes and such... still.... for a newb with a town charter in hand... it's rather tempting!
