You know you can and will have several mine-downs in EACH lvl of a mine, if you mine enogh, right?!
Each mine-down opens a completely NEW mine lvl, meaning 3 mine-downs in lvl 1 would be 3 separate lvl 2 mines.
You know math, right? And it's 8 lvls you can dig in, I got not the slightes idea how many mine-downs you would get if you mine out a mine lvl completely, but I'd strongly assume it's more than 5. (have seen quite a few mines with 3 or more mine downs already next to the entrance), now, for the sake of YOUR credibility, do the math and calculate 1+5^7...thats 390626 mine lvls from ONE mine entrance, go ahead and mine out all of them!
Also, lime spawns as little stones that can be picked up a.k.a. foraged, therefore it is already impossible to completely run out of lime, not counting the nigh infinite lime you can get of the countless lime pits which can be further exploited by digging around them to lower the lvl around them to get even more lime.
TL;DR: What you said voids any reason, logic and knowledge, please do not make a fool of yourself in such a way, thanks!

also... iron is a non renewable resource as far as i know.... so any keys despawning on the map that are attuned to some one still alive... is a waste of resources.

There is literally more iron in Providence than would ever be mined. Ever. And even if we didn't have the ability to port to all the lime fields to restore their levels (which we do), His Majesty would be more than happy to sell lime for a highly inflated price on his stall and thankfully his lime coffers are as deep and infinite as his love for all his tax payers.
Would you mind coming over and restoring my favorite clay pit?!
It is kinda dug out after 20k clay taken from it...
