You would have just a ton of churches built over and over again all over the place.

So over all I think that is a -7 for the ideas

Field sizes, it would be upto you, who ever said you needed to stop growing on the smaller fields ? The mining is hardly over complicated, and if you are able to mine endlessly without gas pockets, it is really not a mine.
What would building endlessly churches gain you under my suggestion? You clearly never read it correctly.

I rather like the farming idea. I think there have been similar suggestions in the past. Depending on how difficult this would be to actually implement versus how interesting you make it sound, I would advocate it.

We have plans already to add more things to mining, including rails, carts, and mules that were detailed in anther mining idea thread months ago. We also want to further expand mining in general. For now i feel i will continue to do it in one thread, and i may break it down after im complete, as i said im going through notes. These are suggestions / ideas that have been running around in my head for years and never really put forth in details. I personally have huge raiding/defences overhauled jotted down, making it more fun to raid, easier to raid, easier to defend, with balanced mechanics for lockpicking, being in a stealth mode, and more.

Please stick around, I do feel it is time to finally contribute. There are many more catogorys i need to add.

Actually im mostly adding stuff, of adjusting stuff i previously added to compensate for something newer i wrote / jotted down and added.

In all honesty i must have 20~ pages worth of notes jotted down with random stuff i would have love to have seen, let alone remember the idea in full detail.

I really was a huge salem fan at one point, i still am, and it really is time i put everything down on the forums i would have love to have seen.

If everyone hates it, If the devs hate everything i do not care, My time here has been amazing and it is time to give back without it being $$$.

Almost most of everything i write here was thought of a minimum of 6 months ago, however a few things as far back as 36 months ago.

If you do not respond, at least pay a visit every few days, and read what new stuff may have been added, you might see something you like.

Just use word and write up your thread. Update with a big final post and people can try to add to the convo. I say try because the thread is so wide and scattered nothing positive is going to come of it.

Nothing positive has ever comes of any of the threds on the whole of these forums, why would this one be different?

Most of the stuff is already written up in word/in notes etc, It just need to be copyed over and edited ( which i have been doing, to make sure i didnt miss type a spoiler etc, make sure it is working piece by piece)

If this thread is a joke and you really do not like it or like any of its suggestions, please by all means, stop posting, no one is forcing you to be here.

im fine with baby animals getting sick... would help combat just strait mass breeding... as long as the sickness RNG isn't out of control.
but once an animal is adult it shouldn't be too hard to keep them alive.
(currently turkeys are a bit of a pain in the ass)

not sure longer time on bigger fields is needed.... same timers should be fine.

the mine carts and such i group with the post about water pipes..... while it would be nice.... currently i am not sure how much effort people would want to put in to a village that can just be taken over/destroyed by a waste claim..... the current raiding system needs fixed first.

most defiantly not a fan of gas.... tho would be nice if we could find under ground streams we could take water from.

maybe not have instances... but just a lootable nest like thing..... since the "foraging balance" patch exploration has really sucked.... but having little nests to loot would help... say opening a bear den could have a bear pelt or two and a chance of a bear paw and/or claw.

i still thing authority should be separate from expanding.... if people want to fight for the top 10 spots that is their business.... but the rest of us don't want any thing to do with that noise.
the new buildings could be used to make your village more dominate then a near by village if you wish to uproot a near by village tho.

As always i will take your knowledge and insight, spit on it and throw it out.

On that note, all i have done so far is expand on current mechanics and added extra, some of my suggestions actually make the game MORE sandbox like than it currently is. Please continue to chant how Making a game more Sandbox like is turning it into a dumbed down themepart piece of **** all you want, it does not make it true. With an exception to villages, however i need to add all the raiding mechanics to help understand the background workins of why it would be like this.

Thank you for your feedback, I anxiously await more of your insults and flaming ***** posts with no content or feedback in the future as i update this thread.

asswipes like you have failed to grasp the concept of a "sandbox" since you were actually playing in them much less since the buzz term became popular, half the **** you propose is lined with stupid ***** artificial limiters that not only dumb the game down but are the complete opposite of a sandbox, the other half is just retard carebear **** (like your instances :lol: :lol: ).

Sandbox game with a safezone and teleportation, without private servers players can rent.

Ill end my arguement there and laugh at any **** you decide to toss my way in the future.

Please now stop the derailment.

PS: If the game was a true "sandbox", it wouldnt be a game at all, but an engine were everything is ready for you to build the game yourself in your own image/design, how you see fit, for others to play on.

Salem is a sandbox for JC, no one else.

*sigh* You know I am pursuing a PhD in Game Studies right? I've tried to explain many time to Lee and other people that sandbox games do not exist. It's a myth. Or rather depending on your definition every game is a sandbox.
