Please fix fishing or make it better...

As the title says...fishing. easy source of food...but what its right now is a mindless boring un eventful event. I have to force myself to fish cuz its such a boring time. Why not add a mini game in to assess this issue?

The ideas forum is for ideas. Unless you can think of an actual suggestion to make fishing better there's no point in posting here. "Minigame" is far too vague.
