I'm running Win8. I've thought about upgrading, but with the adventures I've seen too many people go through right now, I'm not even letting my family upgrade that wants to take advantage of it. My son tried it, and his system crashed horribly requiring a rollback to 8.1. It's the whole "forced updates" that is putting me on hold. I only use this for a gaming system or to screw around with some programming (maybe one of these days i'll publish something).

Similar for me. I use to use 7 but decided to waste drink-myself-to-drunkenness money & buy a cheap PC with 8.1. Few kinks I don't like but overall enjoy it quite a bit. At least I can completely disable updates completely compared to 10. That really put me off. Not to even mention them trying to have either 7 or 8 torrent the update in the background for 10. Thats the type of **** move that makes me only use their software for gaming only.

Speaking of building things. You should finish that bitcoin miner you were talking about. Would pay off more in the long term once its in a pool.
