But what would happen if someone destroys the bed while you are logged out. The person who owns the claim instantly loses the ability to fast travel back to their base when they log on and is left naked at providence. I would rather suggest houses being tied to claims and homesteadable. So a house can be set as homestead when it a rooster beside the door is clicked. if the house is destroyed or burned down the persons homestead gets defaulted back to the homestead stone. For crime purposes a person should be able to see if the claim is active by being able to see the rooster in different forms. If the rooster is sitting the person is offline if the rooster is just standing there is a free slot and if the rooster is crowing the person is online. If a thief wants to rob the homestead they only have to L3WT the rooster.
hovel would have one rooster by the door
farmers house would have 2 by the door
town house would have 3 by the door
brick town house would have 5 by the door
