Salem has been more dead than this too many times to count. It's got a healthy 700+ people logging onto it daily. That's not to bad for where it was when Roa/Jam/Ply ended.

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

Not trying to be rude but what you have stated is pure garbage, though I'm sure you know this.

Updates so far have been quite good, obviously they are going to be a little small because there are still bugs to work out and mechanics to balance. Why would they start pumping out meatier content updates before they fix the ones they have already added?

With regards to the community, I have had a positive experience with 90% of players I have run in to thus far. And guess what, there is no longer a skill for murder. As soon as you get rage you can knock out and kill anyone you want to. Yes, as time goes on more raiders and griefers will show up occasionally but for the most part I feel that the majority of the player base has been quite kind to each other so far.

For a guy that supposedly enjoys Salem, you don't know **** about the game it was birthed from. Hell, the fact that you think Jorb and Loftar are "stealing" their own code is absolutely ridiculous. If they wanna take some **** from Salem and use it in Haven they have every right to do so.

Did I not see John make a post that he would be watching Hafen as well and looking for interesting mechanics he could implement here? Do you think I give a ***** about that? Do you think Jorb and Loftar do? Personally though I think Salem is lookin' pretty dead these days and the devs STILL have yet to actually show an accurate player count which tells me they still have a ****** player base not worth showing off.

Honestly the posts I've read of his in this thread alone make him sound like a huge loser holding some inexplicable grudge against Jorb and Loftar... which is what I wanted to say in my post but I was trying to be somewhat amicable. That comes as no surprise though, what a ***.
