but it isn't simple... if some one gets in and takes out the boundry stones then every thing but the bell area is no longer covered by town claim.

i have been defending the raiding system.... but this kinda breaks it.
If you guys have questions about radar find me on steam, KiaKun.
sorry for the very late replies.... everyone i played salem with quit... and all my villages have been raided.

then you should be encouraged to build real defenses with redundancy instead of a big wall the way every veteran has been doing since the start of the game when there were no waste claims and wall soak on plank was about half as effective a split rail is currently.

if you have a plank wall with even moderate brazier coverage and are breached it is because you did not defend and let it happen, its that simple.

Instead of crying why no one goes and do the same to Darwoth towns? Why do you blame someone for abusing a bug? Just abuse it yourself and if JC change it before/while someone is doing the same to darwoth town you can call him any names.
Pro tip: you cant coz all the salem playerbase is carebear.

i did not want this and think it should have been announced, preferably in advance.

much as i dislike darwoth i don't see a basis for people to think he must have been told about it by the devs when the rest of us weren't. unlike pretty much everyone else he apparently finds the current raiding mechanics enjoyable. he who attacks the most towns would notice first, i wouldn't even be surprised if it has been in game for quite a while.

maybe it wouldnt be carebear if there wasnt Trial by Combats means as soon as you look at someone the wrong way ur dead, only way to raid is using combat alts, and as u can see they die quiets easy... to another combat alt...

Combat in salem is ALL around alts, alts and oh yeah.. alts..

thatd cuz darwoth plays 24/7 and the only reason he plays is to create 50 combat alts every day and run a massive lets say... "business" on alts in wich he seems to try to control the game.

Oh my.

Allow me to begin by saying that Darwoth has not nor will he ever for as long as I develop this game receive advanced notification of combat/raiding mechanic changes that isn't handed out to everyone. The same goes for any player. He doesn't have super powers. He doesn't play on the test server. He isn't JC. Just stop.

That being said, it does indeed appear that the adjustment to how authority objects behave under TBF was left out of the patch notes. Thank you for those few of you who participate in raiding for discovering this and bringing it to our attention. I will make sure it's added to the announcement thread.

Those effected by destroyed authority objects under siege are welcome to PM me so we can discuss your concerns. All players should, if they haven't already done so, make sure that their authority objects are protected. I feel like this should end the public outcry of conjecture, so I'll lock the thread. If you'd like to suggest that the concept of destroyable authority objects is somehow game breaking, please start a thread in the Ideas subforum.
