The items you get from subbing are only cosmetic. There is no actual benefit to having them.

I think I wouldn't mind a 'verified account' to cost a bit more and offer a bit more hours weekly.

Good Statement John.
Bound items would not match with our nice Salem world.

Wonder if this will effect salems community or the haven and hearth 2.0 will flop (im thinking it will flop)

I'm sure that a lot of people will try it out here. I doubt anyone will stay because haven is much more pvp orientated. I can say that this game will def not flop. Haven still has alot of people playing. You should hope that it does well as it will give more exposure to Salem and encourage more people to get into sandbox/permadeath mmos. Success for one game is success for the other.

I think it will have a great start especially with it's very long history. You will see ALOT of old and new faces show up for hnh2. Once they hear there is another game similar and started by jorbtar they will check salem out. I see both populations going up for both games. It should be very exciting in both communities.

I am actually one of those people who sought out salem due o haven. I have to say that this game has completely won me over too!

Exactly. These two games are very similar but very different. You you fall into this niche market you will like one of these games over the other and will discover one of these games because of the other.

not only have i jumped over from HnH, but so has my best friends and gf. I have spent more time on this game then on the 500 dollar entertainment systems i bought, and ive bought more then a years subscription worth of money (referring to HnH year sub) on Salem. This game is beyond fun. MM has done an absolutely amazing job on this game, and if it means anything to the devs, ive been telling everybody about it haha!

I played Salem a long time ago during alpha, i wasn't to impressed so i went back to HnH, i eventually became very bored of it as it was a heavy grind. So after some time i wanted to see if Salem was still around and sure as hell it was. What really started to win me over was all the little things lol. The plague killing people and Boston being filled with corpse, the crime system and seeing players in shackles, witchcraft and the infamous blood-moons. Oh and madness, i reach madness lv 8 by licking moss w/o knowing what really happened....... well explaining to my friend that my toon went insane and ate a "salami Log" that was actually a tree helped win him over from the other games he was playing lol.

i guess what im saying is, im a totally fan and good job to MM and supporting team!
