Barns

The layout of the barns looks nice but it is not efficient. I Would like the ability to destroy and build walls as we need them. Also be able to built gates instead of using boxes and troughs. I have spent countless hours stuck waiting for animals to move so i can get out.

Let us lift at least baby animals. At least inside barns.

Couldn't you just move the animals with a rope? Or were they too close to a wall to respond to you moving?

The leash is too loosely tuned to really be effective in a barn. Everything inside is quite a bit of a chore. We'd personally like some proper door building options in there, or an option to just build fences on our own. As it is the stalls are tight, it's tough to get them to follow you inside with any other animals in there, and having to use troughs or other stuff for doors is just annoying. If you think you could tweak stuff in them it'd be nice to see them polished.

Fair enough. I will consider it.

+1

The barn is a very very bad implementation.

Have you had over 50 animals to take care of on your testserver JC?

Probably not because you would know how frustrating a barn is...

Imagine being able to lock players up in a barn...

Ooh, moving into colonial era "Deliverance" and "Rhode Island Felling Axxe Massacre" are we?

(Sadly we cannot engage in said massacres with axes, although we get to turn in scalps for a creepy serial killer vibe mask.)

That would be kind of funny, though.

Or perhaps "it puts the salve on it's skin, or else it gets the pail (of water) again!"
