The games decent for just 2 people, but they want to play it as if they have a whole team constantly pushing patches and fixing bugs the moment its out to charge that much for a game, that is technically played by free testers, that are now being charged, rather then just cosmetics, i'd rather them of started a kickstarter as well like you mentioned, people fund ANYTHING they once funded a kickstarter about a guy making a bowl of mac and cheese and it raised about half a million dollars iirc.

So if Haven is doing store perks/pay2win, on top of monthly, with their permanent trial...

We can be sure, at least, however it goes, that Salem can learn from Haven's mistakes. Not sure the end result but I am confident we won't get that treatment here. This is AMERICA!

We will indeed be watching Haven very closely and probably even play it for a bit and see if we can't learn a thing or two from all the improvements that they have implemented. We have never been shy to take inspiration from other titles and given that SeaTribe is still financially incentivized for our financial success here I"m sure they wouldn't mind if we borrowed a few things from what works over there and left alone what doesn't in the times ahead. Some constructive criticism of Haven on what works and doesn't work is certainly a welcome read.

i loooove the player models, animations, and working animations etc.. might be a good start? :p (altho not sure how expensive new animations and models are)

Just add day night cycle to salem and make the pave drain less phlegm when running ffs
in sum: make it more "pretty" and less of a hassle
Add from hafen Wall building and the materials are taken automatically when building, it's stupid you have to put the items inside the building post when the items will dissappear anyway if you don't build them in.

Yea that is amazing. They also have it so that you can make a stockpile and use the materials to build around them instead of filling signs.

Professional Animations on our software and engine are between $25.00-$50.00 per second. Average animation being 2-4 Seconds I would say. So not hugely expensive. But not 'cheap' so to speak either. We ended up just using in-house talent for it. And believe it or not I am responsible for many of your animations myself, which admittedly suck, but its something to do when the server is yelling at me about stuff I could care less about.

Anyways, right now we have those adept at animations working on the animations for the horses. And that would be probably the primary reason we have not tried making new and better animations as we have grown better at it. Every animation we 'rework' could be a new animation we could have made for some future implementation.

Hey, the Christians got a sense of humor out of that being done to them. They deified the guy.

Pick up a history book and take note that all of humanity is ****. You, me, everyone else who has, will, and was alive. Deal with it. :D

Nice way to go full SJW though.
