not sure about this person but i noticed you can get madness while sleeping in a bed without bear

I'm not joking. The devs have confirmed that you don't gain madness or insanity while sleeping in a bed. If you log out and log back in with madness then you more than likely didn't log out correctly and sat in game gaining madness/insanity.

Dallane ,all this time i was doing correctly log out from game and this is just clicking on a bed and after closing my client .WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ?
and for me seems bed doesn't work right ....because it was first time when i log out without teddy and got madness ,so it means beds are still adding insanity !!!!!

I had no madness last night and when i logged on just now I got a message saying my location was obstructed and I had 2 more madness levels.

Thanks for the thread hijack, but what causes my location to be obstructed and gain madness levels? If it's from a "bad" log off it sounds like something on the dev's side to fix. I shouldn't need an alt to move my bed or do any other silly ritual to make sure the game works correctly. I've only been playing this game for a little over a week and this kinda bug is rather off-putting. I've been enjoying the game, but support and in-game information seems very lacking. If I have been cursed in someway and had nightmares, there should be an in-game message saying so.
