I already do that. I don't care if they don't want to sticky it but bumping policies need to be more defined. I only bump it 2 or 3 times a week. I think that's fair.

I think "don't bump if it's on the front page already" is pretty well defined. We don't have a forum where there are a hundred new threads a day (yet), so I don't think refining it to "only once a day" is necessary or polite to the community.

This game will never get to the point where it has hundreds of threads a day, this isn't a sought out genre like the fps tard garbage that's spewed out every year with a few new guns added.

What did it stand for? I'm the owner of the teamspeak server and wasn't aware my teamspeak server ever stood for anything. Beside being a public teamspeak server anyone can use. And when someone, or a group, ask me to make them a private channel I will make them a channel. Simple as that. We've talked about this a while back and I, still, simply don't agree with your view (if they want privacy they should rent their own teamspeak server). The public Salem channel has always been mostly empty, unless some sort of event was going on. Funny thing is though the amount of individual Salem players connecting to the teamspeak server daily is fairly high (~20-30 individual clients), but most connect and then disconnect seconds later.

So just incase let me repeat myself. Everyone is free to join the teamspeak server, whatever game you play. That's the entire point of my public teamspeak server. Want a private channel for your group or town, no problem. Just send me a poke when I'm online.

It went from a location where anyone and everyone could come on and talk to just private subs that people don't move from. It's a major reason why I stopped getting on. If i did happen to get the pass to someone's private room then they wouldn't want to leave to talk to other people.

A major reason why people are connecting and leaving is they are either checking to see who is online from the normal bunch of people in there or they see that no one is in the public and leave.

Yes, its a cool feature and very kind of you, however that is not how the previous public servers of Salem worked. Perhaps it is not fair to compare those, I liked that people could not cut themselves off the public by going to their own rooms. Back then there would always be people to talk with, rather than no-1 as it is currently most of the time in your server.

Main difference is that the other public servers where dedicated to Salem. My teamspeak server isn't, it has been running for over 5 years. Most people that use it don't even play Salem, they don't even know what it is. None of the channels listed under private have anything to do with Salem. I know it sounds harsh, but I simply will not change the way I run my teamspeak. Maybe consider hosting your own server?

p.s. Last time I saw Marp connected he was in one of the two password protected Salem channels.
