Well.... doing that sort of thing will sometimes annoy a dev enough to get your main tracked down, logged in, and murdered, so these people are risking a lot just to troll.

John says "Don't scare the newbs!". So, to clarify, you only annoy the devs and lose your main if you're obviously trying to crowd a number of alts in town to disease people on purpose. I would be a bit more harsh, myself. You're all lucky I don't have dev powers because I'm annoyed.

This response is exactly what I hate about Salem. Rather than fix the issue, that you would even consider killing someones main. I thought you wanted tears, if you don't want to allow idle diseased characters loitering in town - put in a mechanic to deal with it. Direct DEV interaction is just pathetic.

I hate the fact that I am forced to play a specific way, and voice my opinion, but this attitude takes the cake.

I remember when I suggested we not let diseases transfer in Providence. JC held me down and put a carebear tattoo on my forehead then coughed on me for 30 minutes until I said I felt sick. Our middle ground was implementing cures.

I hate that people complain about the mechanics we have, but don't bother giving any suggestions on how to change them. But I'm sure we'll think of something once we're done with the 1000s of other things we have to do/balance/add.
