Salem Client by Ender

Anyone else crashing like "allthetime" with enders client. Can max play about 10 minutes between each crash.

It's a known issue with Ender's and Java 7. The problem is a bug in Java.

On toolbars I assigned F5 as lift and now when I press F5 (even if this field is empty) menu opens attack,
when I press F7 it opens Adventure and after second F7 it picks dig. Any help please?

Is there any way to customize radar to see another player's color?

I like Ender's radar. It there any way to force player's color to be correspond to color in buddy list? Their names already have demanded colors.

Radar.xml contains instruction to find resource of body and to set constant color marker on minimap, but this instruction has to be run externally. There is appropriate group of markers in radar.xml named "player". Can it be the Way?

Is there a legend anywhere of what icon and colour correspond to what item?

Look into radar.xml. Plus you can hover mouse over icon and see what it is and memorize it . But general rule is:

• triangle up - inspirational,
• triangle down - food,
• circle - misc material,
• diamond - creature,
• square - players and indian stuff

On another note:
I've made test version of client updater - it will replace java webstart with the task of downloading client, keeping it up-to-date and launching it. This will fix client freezes that occur because of bugs in webstart. I need people to test it on different platforms. You can grab it here. Just run this jar file and it should download all necessary libs and files and launch client. All files will be downloaded in directory where this jar file is, so don't run it from desktop, unless you want lots of garbage there

hah, errr... what directory is salem in? lol I just realised that I actually never installed it like I do my other games so there is no directory in my games folder for it

Which file you are referring to? If you seek folder where client config and saved maps are - look at %YOUR_USER_FOLDER%/Salem.
If you are seeking folder where to put updater into - put it where you want. It will download all necessary files there.

New client seems to run without problems with java 7. Where before i had lots of crashes.
