Did you even read my post?

yes but the initial bet wasnt about any insanity just about being on.

More dishonorable word lawyering. If you don't have the cash its not a big deal man. I can wait while you get it together or we can barter.

In an interesting turn of events Dallane has agreed to assign this debt owed by Heffernan over to me. Once dallane is unbanned he will be posting here to make it official.

Heffernan,
How exactly were the payment arrangements being worked out.

Not according to Loftar. What was your response to his valid points?

He's made all of his arguments, and now he's just repeating himself that I can see.

Point to be made from all this:

Maybe there needs to be a distinction between a character persisting in the world after log out and actually being "logged in" to the client. Language... it's hard to use properly when you use the same 1000 words over and over again.

Don't get me wrong. On a certain level, this has been a fun read. You learn just how twisted some people's logic is (and damn, I am guilty of it myself). It seems like you have to be a real engineer anymore to learn proper logic and not "social logic," ie how to manipulate others to your point of view.

Once again, MagicMann is the voice of reason in a forest of nonsense. I miss you MMan.

These "Pile on <whoever>" threads are really not fun to watch JC. You need to be above this now that you're a dev. I get that you want to troll Hefferman and you miss being able to do this as a player but it's sort of unbecoming for a dev to do it right before the release of his game. Maybe we could all agree to end this conversation before it keeps going forever so all the new players that come on during the release don't see this thread the first time the come on the forum?

Someone with sanity please lock this thread at some point.

Hey, as long as Heffernan wants to post crazy things, who am I to silence him? He can stop at any time.

Or are you saying he has an addiction-like disease and cannot stop himself and so it takes outside intervention to force him to stop until a mental health professional can be consulted?
