I haven't seen these answered yet and Tmeow said to put them here:

Overall I love the idea of the expedition, and plan to play it but I have some major qualms about how the mechanics are going to be re-introduced to Providence after the expedition ends:

Cannons

1. I think cannons are great for the expedition but over-powered in general game-play. Are they going to be allowed on Providence after the expedition's done?

2. Cannons destroy all people and walls in front of them when they go off. Do they also destroy all buildings?

Livestock

1. I'm really looking forward to livestock but I'm wondering how they get back to Providence. Will only the winners be allowed to bring livestock back to Providence? How exactly will livestock come from the Expedition to Providence?

2. You've said that the expeditions will take between 4 months to 2 years to complete. If only the winners can bring livestock back to Providence will we maybe have to wait 2 years for them?

3. Are horses going to be part of livestock or is that a future patch?

New Stuff

1. I love the new statues. Will there be any new inspi's, items, clothing, monsters or crafting thingy's available on the Expedition only?

Winning the Expedition

1. I'm unclear on how exactly someone is determined a 'Winner' of the expedition. Does it basically mean that whichever group's town's tier 3 witch prays at all 6 statues first wins and that all her TOWN MEMBERS also win and can bring back all their stuff?

2. [color=#BF0000]It seems that the losers can at least inherit some of the skills and biles of their characters on the expedition to a character on Providence which is nice but you've also talked about maybe including a chest full of whatever they can fit into it which I also like the idea of. Is that going to happen?

Cannons will not be coming home to Providence
Claeyt wrote:2. Cannons destoy all people and walls in front of them when they go off. Do they also destroy all buildings?

Cannons will destroy many, but not all buildings in their path.

Claeyt wrote:1. I'm really looking forward to livestock but I'm wondering how they get back to Providence. Will only the winners be allowed to bring livestock back to Providence? How exactly will livestock come from the Expedition to Providence?

Players will ship their livestock back. They will only come back to the main server when the expedition ends.

Claeyt wrote:2. You've said that the expeditions will take between 4 months to 2 years to complete. If only the winners can bring livestock back to Providence will we maybe have to wait 2 years for them?

The expedition will end as fast as the players decide for it to end. So if you want them to come back sooner, simply end the expedition.

Claeyt wrote:3. Are horses going to be part of livestock or is that a future patch?

They will probably trail the expedition patch by a small amount, but hopefully not too long.

Claeyt wrote:1. I love the new statues. Will there be any new inspi's, items, clothing, monsters or crafting thingy's available on the Expedition only?

Nothing else expedition ONLY. Plenty of new things with the patch but that new stuff will be deployed on both servers.

No. Only one person can win the server. That is the person who ends the server.

There are complications with transferring items from one server to another. If we can get through that problem then we may allow a few items to be shipped home.

When you say "Players" can I assume that means ALL players and not just THE winner? That's great news if that's how it's going to work. Thank You.

I'm getting hyped. I don't know about you guys. :D

Thank you very much for the clear and concise answers for all of us.

Now i'm confused a little bit, will everyone (who survives) be able to bring back their stuff to Providence once expedition is over or only the winner?

He's saying that the 'Winner' or the Tier 3 Witch who prays at all 6 statues will be able to bring back whatever they own or can get I guess plus the tier 3 Witch character itself, while everyone else can maybe bring back a limited box or chest of stuff. The 'losers' will of course also be able to inherit their expedition characters stats onto a character on Providence. That means if you bile up a 100 stat guy you'll get a 30% of his biles (30) plus 30% of their proficiency levels. This could increase by 10% if you pay the undertaker guy on the expedition I suppose and if you are able to pray to that statue that gives 5% of your character stats back per week, up to 100% back over 14 weeks I suppose. Of course that's after the expedition is over.

Seriously where did you read all this stuff? Take each sentence, read again and then try to point exactly to carver saying, or even implying, that.

There is only 1 winner : most likely given a speical unique item back on providance.
Everyone dies : including the winner
Im Guessing the player who brands (The new MM Cattle branding iron) an animal gets rights to it when they are shipped home. (will cause some termoil with some alliances im sure)

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE HIGHLANDER.

So, cannon.

Can be used to break into any non-large town or any pclaim. Large towns with huge influence might be 'out of range' - might. The town with lots of Bound(a)ry Stones could be immune to this mechanic, except for cannon shots fired at the stones themselves I suppose. In which case, overlapping stones a little would be good measure.

I can almost see the server coalescing into two Red vs. Blue factions to maintain this huge terrain grab ;) Pretty good stuff.

What recourse does a defender have if the enemy lights the cannon and surrounds the cannon with pclaims and/or strong walls...? Seems offense will be the best defense.

What aren't you guys getting?

He said there will be one winner, who else could be the winner except the person who owns the tier 3 witch. he said that here:

JohnCarver wrote:No. Only one person can win the server. That is the person who ends the server.

He said that a tier 3 witch will end the server by praying at all 6 statues, there no other winning conditions so that's how you win I would assume.

I guess, maybe the person doesn't get to keep the character but he's said multiple times here that a person can inherit their character on Providence and that they're thinking about implementing some sort of limited item transfer, suitcase or something. He mentioned the suitcase idea and that the winner gets to keep their stuff somewhere, I'm sure.

The newest statue allows you to get 5% more per prayer session towards inheriting your biles and proficiencies after the expedition ends. That means with a basic Undertaker at 30% and 14 weeks of 1 prayer each to that new statue you could inherit 100% of your character back on Providence.
