I think the point he is trying to make is that you should at least offer 100 over the NPC so more people will sell to you. You have more then likely missed out on alot of gold bars because of this. Thats goes for everything you are buying. You have most def missed out on items you want because they are WAY underpriced. Like that day you wanted to buy glass from my mining alt. I told you I sold them for 300 on my stall and that blew you away as being overpriced. You missed out on alot of glass doing that. The cash shop items you have listed is disturbingly low. I really feel sorry for anyone who fell for this.

What incentive do I have to sell you a gold bar over the NPC vendor?

Still looking for an answer for this from Heffernan. It seems to me that the NPC is surely available 24/7. What type of compensation can we expect for waiting in providence to sell these rare items?

well its the same price as the npc, so the gold bar might be an exeption, but an item when u sell a large batch "oh i also have a gold bar" other then that theres no compensation selling to me over npc out of having the item in player hands rather then lost to npc.

IMO, I'd rather my item be lost to an NPC than placed in the hands of someone that might have the capacity to raid my establishment in the future. With no monetary gain to myself over an NPC, the reasoning you provided is more-so a negative than a positive.
