Don't think that maps are that easily corrupted/mixed (with a good map merging methode of course). But having the session maps separated per world makes just to much sense to not have it.

@Ender(& shortly APXEOLOG): Thanks :D

Thanks you for updating client. I hope it help us a lot.

Regarding to maps: Services could not working propertly in about half of hour, in case of reuploading. After reuploading you should see updated version of maps.
I reduced limit to 500 tiles or 200 unique. I hope we reveal all "terra incognita" as soon as possible.
Big thanks for ver first senders, and i hope to much more will join us soon.

If someone sets me up with a vps, i could write a dynamic mapping system whereby the modded clients automatically upload missing chunks to the server and places them appropriately on a grid.

It's nearly impossible, because the tile you start playing at after log in to game is always set to (0,0), wherever you start (Boston, your claim, somewhere in the wilderness). Unless you're able to create something that can recognize which of the existing tile on the map you start at.

Tip: To show other your progress, your could use/post some scaled down previews of your progress.
- Best done in first post, if you intend to keep them up to date.
- Might get you more participants.
- Would also shows what areas are of more interest to map senders.

Is there a max size to the mapping? I walked 2 hours last night trying to get a full from east to west in 1 setting and nothing showed up in my maps even though all my other smaller ones are there.
I'm Sevin Williams the head of the Williams Family on Jamestown.

I know. I just don't have enough time during work cause of work. Currently i want to update a map and next i'll change first post. It's a bit lame and tragic now i think.

@UP: If a world is a big square now it's around 250x250 tiles large.
