Sup all,
I'm new to the forums and kind of new to the game.
I was honestly loving it until this INSANITY patch came out.
It annoys me how easy it is to gain INSANITY and how frustrating it
can be to lose it. I go and pick flowers to try and lower it and I get
"Itchy Britches" ok, So i'll just re-equip all my stuff then figure I
have to "Resist Itch" (a few times over) to finally be able un-equip
the Itchy leaf (hmm ain't too keen no more on flower picking after
that ordeal). I know! I'll go widdle a pile of timber for a while to try
and suppress the INSANITY, oh! there's a Timber Terror Fetish now
that has come to annoy me as well as decrease my Hammer & Nail
proficiency! YAY!! not too keen on using that advised method to
decrease INSANITY either. Plus, these annoying encounters happen way to
often to ever be considered as a remotely realistic experience of gameplay.
So, the honest best way to gain SANITY is to "use a trumpet" well sure! i'll
just go grab some tier 3 golden corn oil and materials and go make one!! sweet!
Look Guys, For a half noobie that was quietly working away and having fun to being
annoyed by voices and all these frustrating events (even termites in plank stacks
frequently eating your just acquired planks). I find all of this a bit over the top.
I got my high INSANITY level stupidly by trying to recycle resources
(licked moldy boards) -_- yeah I know trololol and all that.
I'm starting to not enjoy this game as much due to this patch. I find it a
chore just to try and get my character back to a normal state and it's getting annoying.
I get the feeling you are trying to deter people from wanting to play it with all these
new updates (it's that annoying).
If this INSANITY patch is to stay, May I please suggest a more easier method of obtaining
SANITY. Like simply being in a 9x9 square radius presence of a roaring fire (finding it soothing)
or a few similar basic things to make it easier on us hard working noobsters. Even introduce
a Psychiatrist to Boston, Clearing your INSANITY level for 500 silver or something.
Glad to get that off my chest..
Cheers!
