Such a beautiful story. You should make this into a book in Salem.

Joining a group can be hard I admit, but if people would build farther away from providence and not hunt beaver on the coast you probably would never get hit....

If you're willing to put in the effort you can make a 300 bile yb/red in a month once you have a main able to kill bears and be a decent gardener.

But the main character and base will take you 3 months of solid game-play to make (especially by yourself). I'm not arguing that it's not easy to make alts or high level characters once you have the stuff. I'm saying getting to that point takes work and usually takes a group of players. 300 stats isn't going to beat any one of the top players anymore in open combat.

The TbC, revenge and the stockades are both decent mechanics for the game but they both are mostly used for just harassing the top level players. The TbC mostly seems like it makes the top player stay on to defend it while the stockades means the top player has to deal with disease, loss of biles, loss of gluttony timer and now insanity. Darwoth and other towns receiving thousands in taxes from the stalls just buy out their criminals if they're summoned. The stockades cost the criminals silver to save their guy in the stockades.

Here ya'll go, a bit easier to use than that gif for figuring out your level. Will be up on the wiki today as well.

I do remember this but this is just for killing murderers not for anything else and it's also buried in an old announcement. There needs to be more Player to Player rangering where a Player hires another Player to go hunt down a criminal for him.

Wouldn't it be better if that mythical player could have had somewhere to look up mechanics without having to turn to the forums so that he could learn the game. If the game does grow then it'll be because noob players like this stick with it because the game is also fun not just "unplayable".

The game is harsh, chorey and grindy we all know this but losing everything by being caught out with no ability to defend yourself against bigger players makes for a dumb mechanic. You've made it so that Bases are nearly permanent and there's no more wiping of bases and that's awesome but now you need to protect that mid level player a little bit so that they don't get griefed out of the game. I keep saying it, but it's important: Killing should be an end-game mechanic about crimes, witchcraft and politics.

Your missing a level. I just checked and your missing the difference between 3 and 4. The masks are VERY similar, but insanity 4 is where you see the 'leaves' on the side begin to turn to thorns. Thus your 1,2,3 seem right, but your 4-9 are actually one higher than you are showing.

And why doesn't this exist?

to note, this has gone completely off topic here, and if I recall right, has been discussed thoroughly in I&I.

I agree, and thankfully we don't have that mechanic. As mentioned there are dozens of ways a new player can escape a veteran if they want to put in the effort to do so. Saying otherwise will get you dunce capped. Keep your rhetoric at retarded false assumptions and dumb opinions, you know all to well what happens if you venture into lies.
