are we a sitting duck during logout timer? because that makes a crash or disconnection seriously OP (i'm going to assume yes)

That is true, but for probably less than 1% of the player base, for the remaining 99% it is disastrous.
(Their personal opinion might vary from these numbers, but in terms of "being beneficial to someone" these numbers ought to be quite correct!)

Log out timer doesn't bother me at all. If you are trying to ninja log, you are already tempting the fates by your own merits, so waiting a few secs when not near my bed is fine with me.

Maybe someday you will learn good manners and not insulting everyone like a 10 years old child will already get you a bit of their sympathy by not being rude to them.
