The likelihood is dependent on your madness level.

I do like the concept of insanity but not being an afk:er or bot and possibly have the inventory ruined just by chance, even at madness 0, is very... discouraging. Should I just leave my tools I can't fit on the character at home? Or am I mayhaps reading too much into 'all-consuming'.

At Madness 0 there is a 0% chance of bad things happening to you.

With all the stuff added after the first "shock", madness is rather whimsical...

There is ONE not only potentially but absolutely certain thing that will kill people, and that's the 20 sec (at best) logout timer!

1.) Make some big noise about madness and "certain" permadeath
2.) Sneak in a logout timer along other timer changes while step by step reducing the severity of that whole madness thing
3.) No one noticed the actually deadly thing in this patch

Good job, JC, couldn't have done that better myself!

JohnCarver I would like to suggest that psychotic episodes not happen with a madness level of 0 please.
Our town almost lost our town charter that we have been saving for a week and the guy had 0 madness level and he got a ravenous spark that ate almost his entire inventory and KO'd him.

if you are sleeping in a bed and your client crashes upon login then your position is occupied ( by the bed ) the next time you log in, so being unmovable the bed has to be destroyed :lol:

Smoking in a pimped out room should increase the chances of tobacco removing a madness level.

I checked the logs and you once again are being dumb. Learn to log out correctly and the system will work correctly. There is a reason this is ONLY happening to you.
