Truth be told people just need time to see that this new patch really is not as bad as it all seems.

if people incite a uprising you can either supress them with force or try to actively work on a solution.

I just wanted to say that the voice heard is the voice of the few. The many are actually playing and enjoying the game as truth be told this patch didn't change anything except making the game funnier to play (those random psychotic event are hilarious).

Totally this.

This update has made us laugh quite alot with the random evil voices we hear, sharing our tiny voices with each other too see who has had the best. It has not changed our game play at all. (Its made us laugh even more with the amount of pathetic crying over a patch that has almost changed nothing)

We need to make a list of all the comments they voices make.

These are not 100% accurate

"The treasure is to the west"
"Filthy Pilgrim, filthy"
"The wolf is in front of me"
"kill them, Kill them all"

Oh I cant wait to find out all the voices - there are certainly a lot, nearly 100 i think I was told.

My fave is:

'My eyes, I can't see my eyes'
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Mini Update #3
Tobacco Pipes now remember what is inside them between logouts
Default client should now be working with gluttony again.
Masks should now be updating correctly and custom clients should have the ability to replicate the default use of them.
Bats once again have a base level chance to spawn when mining, which is then increased the more insane a player becomes.
There is now a 40 second timer to port to providence and port to your homestead
Existing 10 minute and 20 minute timers to port have been removed.

TEARS
There is now a 20 second logout timer to leave salem. (Force closing your client won't save you and will cause you to take far longer to log out than had you logged out legitimately).

New Mechanic: Beds

Players May now build Leafy Bed
Players may now build a Simple Bed
Players may instantly log off when right clicking a bed.
Players will find that their inspiration comes back faster if they are logged off while sleeping in a bed. The better the bed the more extra inspiration you get while logged off.
Players will find that their insanity will be lower after sleeping in a bed (this will not lower madness levels, only bring insanity back to the lowest point of your current madness level).

You can see if there is a character sleeping in a bed and my initial implementation allowed for anybody to drop a boulder on the bed smashing the bed and the character if they had murder. However, one who shall not be named on the dev team felt that there was hope still left for you Salemites and talked me out of it.

HolyLight wrote:WHY REMOVE THE TELEPORT TIMERS.

The issue was with 'mass and quick teleportation and transit of goods'. Since i was putting a 'timer' on it to avoid people running away from danger to couple with teh new logout timer, it seemed a bit too harsh to have a timer on the port AND a timer on how frequently you could port. If there is a strong faction that wants BOTH timers, I could always put it back so you have both timers but I felt in the end nobody is going to be teleporting massive amounts of goods repeatedly when they have 40+ seconds of waiting.
