Stuck at verifying Application

-When I hit launch application it begins downloading and then hangs at the point of "verifying application"- Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

-This is where I am stuck. The green download bar goes by just fine and then it hangs here. I have sat at this screen for 20+ minutes and also tried restarting a plethora of times.

This happens to me too, when I have to download the default client. It will sit there and take FOREVER to verify and move very slowly. It always finishes for me... sometimes after hours of waiting.

-Well , no bones.
Left it all night, went to work and left it all day and its still on that same screen.

-Going to close and try one more time. If it doesnt work this time I will try to revisit the game later on down the road... Unless there are any other suggestions.

Go into your java control panel (control panel>java), security, certificates, and remove the certificates. This worked for me and a couple other people before.

-Thanks. Still seems to be doing the same. I am going to give it a couple hours and try uninstalling Java and trying with an older version and see what that get me-

It is a really awesome game, I hope you get it going.

On a different note, Oracle is aware of a bug with JNLPs where the downloads will appear to hang on verification. Unfortunately, this has been known about for years and there is no follow up to this bug on the official website.

Yes, it seems a lost cause.

I rolled back Java to 6 and had the same results.

Oh well, you win some and you lose some.

I wish you guys all the luck in the world- The concept of this game is phenomenal and if it has the depth of haven and hearth then you have something really special on your hands. I will continue to periodically try and hopefully someday it will work. Plus at least I can keep up with the conversation in the Forums (which) for now is still a huge bonus having the beta access .
