Custom client by Latikai, building on Ender's client

I'm getting a Haven Error every time I log-out or try to switch characters. Default client works fine. This is odd as I have never had any issues prior to this.

are you perhaps using an old updater file? The cause is that lsalem.jar is updated while lclient-res.jar is not.
First: try downloading the latest updater from the first post.
Possible step if that didn't work: force re-load lclient-res.jar by deleting it from ~/Salem/bin/

After i load 10+ times a client it starts to check updates forever .....

merged with appropriate thread. custom client issues need to be taken up with the author of the mod.

github can occasionally be down - just try again 5 minutes later. if it persists, it's most likely an issue with your connection.
