Why the other kind of boards (dried, planned) can't be put into stock piles ?

They can be. The stock pile will take any boards. It will, however, only show you the 'image' of what the 'top' board is on the stack that it is holding.

I tried putting dried board, but nothing happened ? (I used the default client, because Latikai's crash when I try opening it)

EDIT : I left click on the dry board in my inventory, the right click on the stock pile, but nothing happen, did I miss something ?

EDIT : my bad, I tried clicking on the stock pile, not the popup window, it's working fine ! Sorry for that

EDIT 2 : Though the counter doesn't update, I need to move and open it again to show the real number of board I put into

EDIT 3 : it doesn't update if I put 1 board, but if I put 2 or more it updates

yeah, but even when the type is set, the counter doesn't update.
For example, there's 10 board in when I open the pile, I add 1 board, the counter stays at 10, then I add an other board, the counter goes to 11. Then I reload the window (closing and reopening) the counter says 12.
