The Sky is the Limit

Postby JohnCarver » Sun Apr 19, 2015 2:45 am

Greetings Salemites,
Since March's Patch was a bit late. We figured we would fire on all cylinders to get you an April patch as well is mainly just all bonus content we wanted to add at some point or another in development. As we march towards our release we will try to get a few more patches of "This" magnitude which will hopefully keep everybody entertained while giving us time to perfect the Animal Husbandry and Expeditions.

The list includes Stockpiles, yay! Also a new skill revolving around poisoning your friends and foes. There is a new darkness creature to make your darkness experience all the more horrifying. And a new Rummaging Artifice. Oh, and we hope you put all your cupboards in your houses. ¦]

New Poison Mechanic

New Skill: Blowdarts. Allows the creation of Blow Tubes and Blow Darts
New Item: Blowtube
New Item: Sturdy Reed.

New Crime: Poisoncraft. Poisoncraft is like forgery in that a scent is left from the CREATION of poisonous materials and it lasts 5 months. Players should not craft poisons if they are not prepared.

Players may now make a Blow Tube
Players may now make a Sleep Dart
Players may now make a Venom Dart
Payers may now make a Potent Venom Dart
New Player & Animal State: Unconscious. Players and Animals may now be knocked unconscious for a variety of reasons which we will begin implementing over time. The first are tranquilizer/sleep darts which are part of the blowdarts skill. This mechanic is extremely similar to a stun with the exception that an unconscious player or animals will wake' up upon receiving a single point of damage.

Mass Storage, Yay!

Stockpiles are finally live!

New Skill: Ample Storage. Allows for the creation of Stock Bins.
Players may now store large quantities of Boards, Bricks, Lime, Granite, coal & Rubble.

New Structure: Stock Bin can be built which will mass store certain items. Add one item to your mass storage to determine what it will hold. If you add Lime, you can only add lime until you have emptied the Stock Bin. You can then change what it stores to something else such as boards.

New Civilian Artifice: Rummaging

New Civilian Artifice "Rummaging"
All players now have a 'chance' to get double items when foraging. The chance for double is dependent on the Civilian Artifice Skill "Rummaging"
