What does the "Translate" feature do exactly?

How to show braziers' range like in this picture?

Allows you to define a dictionary file the client will use, see

trans.txt holds the substitution, every two lines holds an english sentence and the translated one.
And the unmatched sentences are written into the late.txt, for someone to translate them and put them into trans.txt.
If some translation work is ongoing and they don't want to see them in late.txt, they can write a later.txt file contains the known untranslated sentences.
an example trans.txt would be:

不保存密码
Remember me

If you don't have an account

Yeah, but everytime a text is changed on the server you would have to update the translation or the changed text would return to the english version

i prefer english for games, so I don't do any effort translating - apart from the example file lcy gave me, i'm also not aware of anyone else having done much translation yet - but undoubtedly he wrote the code for a reason :)

Have an issue.
Often but not always I have this, but not the full craft info.

How can i fix that?

Can it happen because of temp unavaibity of http://www.salem-wiki.com on my ISP?

possibly, but the info should be cached by your client (i.e. if you see it once it should always be visible thereafter - although this might mean out-of-date tooltips). The tooltips are indeed read from the wiki.
