i went to jamestown, figure in the long run that one will have the higher population simply because everyone knows about jamestown, not so many with regard to roanoke.

btw the capital cities on the new servers are dumps.

To edjumicate the masses:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roanoke_Colony
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamestown,_Virginia

To summarize: Jamestown was the first permanent colony in the modern day United States and barely survived the first few years. After that, they had trouble, but were established enough and continued on. Roanoke Colony, on the other hand, just up and disappeared and to this day nobody has been able to get concrete proof together of what happened.

FYI, the current city of Roanoke, Virginia has absolutely nothing to do with the colony and is inland in the mountainous region.

Jamestown, Virginia:

"In 1699, the capital was relocated from Jamestown to what is today Williamsburg, after which Jamestown ceased to exist as a settlement, existing today only as an archaeological site."

roanoke colony:

""Lost Colony" redirects here."

sorry, i think i am right painhertz... (barring misspelling roanoke, lol)
