Yeah people forget that before Lallaith so astutely pointed out the loophole that ripping fields up added, we used to just have to do a quick upkeep reduction run.

Was this patch postponed so it coincided with the Blood Moon IRL, because that is kind of genius.

I was in the tutorial and DC'd, then when I went back the toon was gone. The character not "created" until you finish the tutorial?

EDIT:

Sooo I got swimming and tried to escape the slave labor camp.... I glitched on the cliff and results were not pleasant.

without a homestead I fear I am more or less dead. Also I almost KO'd while lighting fires. Who knows though, the ability to kill yourself in the tutorial for being stupid might be an intended feature :D

Oh and overall good job on the tutorial. It's just enough I think, and you locked it down so we can't do overly silly things. I really wanted to make a map too but you seemed to make it so time doesn't pass so I couldn't burn milk weed.

Like we did not see this coming I was going to actually suggest allowing us to move cupboards from house to house along with up and down stairs and If they are left out then have them decay away but I was scared to even mention this in fear you would use the opportunity to harvest tears and get it implemented immediately and deny the ability to move them.

So with all seriousness JC will you please consider allowing us to move them. There are many times, especially as a noob you later realize you messed up and that placement will not work with the expanded need for defenses or further production building and such. I have a seriously hard time building non movable things because I am not the best planner and even when I think real hard there seams to be something I missed.

It is very hard to even think of moving a house If you have a lot invested into the cupboards. cupboards are really rather expensive items.

Not really. Silver is easy to get.

My 2 biggest disappointments with this patch so far are:

1. Why can't you switch clothes with a mannequin with a full tool belt? It's almost as much of a pain in the ass to take all your tools off just to switch clothes as it was to just switch clothes manually.

2. Why not make Butterflies minor artifacts or inspirationals? It was so much fun growing them and feeding a bunch of caterpillars. Now besides the Witch thingy you fill a couple of houses for orchards and you're done. Is there an inspirational or artifact that I'm missing? What happens when you destroy their houses like Bee hives? They just seem so much less useful than if they had stayed inspi's like pre-patch.

The patch is awesome but why not keep Butterflies as inspi's and let Mannequins be more useful?

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.

Releasing butterflies from inventory from boat sunk them instead of let them fly...

Because they are littering the map. If they were inspirationals they would be so low that it wouldn't matter.

Why don't you destroy one and find out?

Bees are rare and butterflies are not. They still have a huge role in things.

Yes you are missing out on alot of ****. Start playing the game and stop *****.
