You guys will just have to wait and see. But I think we make it quite clear this is a permadeath game. If the blood moon becomes too complicated, confusing, or in general an annoyance to deal with I'll just make ALL KO's permadeath ALL the time. And instead let the church going pilgrims of the world create a blessing from god or some such that gives them a small chance they do NOT permadie.

Actually recurring to the church during a blood moon sounds awesome lore wise, praying to the gods sounds even better, not just paying the priest hehe
