April Teaser

Postby JohnCarver » Fri Apr 03, 2015 6:19 am

Greetings Salemites,
I am generally sorry that the patch has found ways to delay itself as it has. That being said I hope little tidbits into what we are doing helps take some of the edge off the craving. I know none of you will use our default client anyway, and frankly, we have no intention of trying to make something that competes with all the bells and whistles of the custom guys. However, that being said I do think it was important that new players be given a slightly better experience on the default client in general so we don't turn them away before they realize all that Salem has to offer. A lot of time lately has been picking and choosing tidbits from the custom clients that we felt would be nice in the default. So without further ado,

We are still on a day by day with this patch. When we feel we have something that is semi-stable and rounded with our must-haves, we will drop it.

Anyone that complains about the development schedule doesn't deserve the devs' hard work.

You guys have done a phenomenal job and I love you for it.

Thought you quit because you hate him? ¦] (I'm joking)
Awesome although it is a bit confusing to look at. Good to see you incorporate these features into the vanilla client.
You thought I quit.

I have of course loaded it up with as many things as possible for the teaser. The minute a pilgrim moves any 'map' they have open will autoclose. And of course the mini-map is resizable and move-able to wherever you want.

What is this red moon? It cannot be darkness meter, as the char is not in the darkness.
