That is a respectful base, I see nothing wrong there, in fact I see a lot of things right. Granted it won't protect them for ever but as for protecting themselves from theives on horses looking for an easy score I bet you didn't touch their stuff.

Now is when you make an advanced thief's guide to protecting your **** and explain everything wrong with the base design.

the braziers are not covering the walls though - someone could smash those walls without taking any fire at all.

But they would leave scents and that's a heavy investment for most crime nowadays are being done by throw away alts. Given that base few people would throw away an alt capable of smashing a stone wall to get 3 chests and a couple boxes of probably low level loot. To me that base looks like someone whose is actively trying to think about security and thus I'd be willing to bet he builds braziers as soon as he gets wrought iron. I'm not saying its a great base, I'm saying it's owner is thinking in the right direction.

The stone wall and the several braziers and torchposts are a step in the right direction. But those signposts are laughably useless and they DO constitute poor base design.
