Which is what I was commenting on. There are still a many who are waiting for H&H 2.0 to come out and bogging down here from what I've noticed simply by talking to folk in game. It was the same two and three years ago as well. There are those of us who like the new style, usually started out in Salem in that regard, and those who came from H&H. There are nice things; simple things such as panning and new recipes. Those are nice. Though mechanic wise I'll always like Jorb & Loaf's style.

Which is why it is my and only my opinion. : )

As someone who played haven on a more competitive level and got to experience the faction warfare, both games are amazing. The devs are what makes the games stand out to me. Jorb and Loftar are VERY set in their ways and don't really interact with the community nearly as much as MM. You still see ALOT more shady **** go down with how they deal with top factions and their favorite actors. Most of us have experienced the pace of updates from both devs. The future line up for Salem is going to be extremely fun.

As far as new Haven. I'm sure we will see a drop in pop while people see the new shiny permadeath sandbox. Most people will follow their friends in what game to play. More then likely both games will be played.

The Haven community is much more bloodthirsty and to be honest Salem is carebear central. I don't foresee many Salemnites leaving this game.

When people hear about HnH, the first thing accredited reviewers say to them is "the development is somewhat stagnant."
I don't think it is a good thing. The only reason why stranded 2: the survivalist was the first game of the genre I play is because I don't want to play a dead game.
You thought I quit.

To their defense it's been stagnant for a reason.

They do H&H as a Hobby. : )

In there defense it is not really dead; more so than it is very slow development. Two people who only specialize in completely different areas does not offer the fastest of development. I like H&H for a multitude of reasons; one of which that fact it is hobby driven.

Personally, my favorite part of Haven was the recurring phallic imagery and references. I fear no game will ever again give me the same satisfaction as when I crafted my first Creamy ****.

The smoking of hemp makes h&h far superior, despite my REPEATED suggestions to add it here too

Who does not like a good high quality creamy **** while smoking some hemp? Only sub-humans and non-humans probably. Should definitely be added to Salem ASAP.
