Master Whittler Skill

Perhaps it would be too over powered, but it would be really nice if we could learn a skill, at perhaps 150 Hammer and Nail, that would allow us to whittle things anywhere. It bugs me that despite being able to make pretty decent furniture I can't make a sharpened stick without going to my bench.

Ha. I kind of like the idea of having to be tied to a bench, or maybe a nice rocking chair to sit it. However a Master Whittler Skill seems like a good idea in general, new crafts and what not.

Yeah i like the idea of master whittler to make new crafts rather then to be able to whittle without a bench.

Also since they made woodworking no longer have any effect on planing it would be nice to show some love to people who bother to get their woodworking to a high enough level.

Maybe a duck decoy, wooden bobbers for fishing, a really sharp sharpen stick, special handles for new tools/weapons, wooden gnome, walking stick... etc.

Even school-boy can sharpen a wooden stick with his knife or axe without a bench. I don't know why skilled pilgrim always need a bench for that.

Maybe a Master Whittler wouldn't be able to whittle everything without a bench, but just simple stuff like sharpened sticks ?

Might as well give us more recipes that need the carpenter bench and the whittler bench.
+1 on the note that it will release simple jobs from the bench.
