I think I just did.

Symptoms: Default client would launch but I could not left or right click in it on the ground with the mouse or with the trackpad. I could left click and right click on inventory. Custom clients wouldn't even launch because of a MacOS pop up claiming I didn't have a Java Runtime Environment installed.

Cure:

Oracle wrote:After I updated to Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), why am I told to install Java after I already installed the latest Java?
After updating to Mac 10.10 and installing the latest Oracle Java version, some users report being prompted to install Java again. This is most commonly because an application is using Java 6 provided by Apple, which also must be updated. For more information, see http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572.

So in the end I had to install both the Java 8u40 and the java version found here from Apple:

Enders and Latikai's client now work. The default client still has the issues with left and right click not working on the ground.

Only Latikai's client has sound though - neither Ender's nor default do.

Same problem, tried on a macbook air and on my desktop mac (with two button mouse), can use wasd and GUI, but clicks have no effect when used on the rest of the screen. Also, color bit is not changeable on newer displays, and I haven't seen any posts where that actually fixed the problem.

Btw, I've tried it with Ender's as well, and still no luck.
