The only thing that i can think of that i did was kill and bunch of beaver and take only the hide and brains while in Providence.
I checked all around my base and did not find any scents or anything out of the ordinary.
I would tell all the non-witches to keep a tournaquet or two handy as i feel if i didnt have one in my inventory and think to use it right away i would be dead.
