I immediately ported to Providence and paid the guy who can cure curses. That didn't seem to stop the bleeding and I didn't want to K.O. in Providence so I ported back to my base. I heard the Wicked Wicker Man Mask sound a few more times. I look on mini map and I don't see anyone. I ran inside my house and used tourniquet to stop the bleeding and it did work. So what the hell happened? I about had a heart attack.

Sounds like a witch got you.

From the description of the symptoms it was a very powerful 2nd Circle Witch.

You think something as simple as some stacked stones or bricks can keep out a powerful witch?

Can witches reduce your chance of getting rare stuff? I haven't found one beaver tail in weeks even though I killed like 50 beavers. So either I am very unlucky or a not so powerful witch is at my back.

Who knows? Seems to me like some players are getting information that is not available to all.

Seems to me that by asking your question in CuaH instead of Help you introduced a teeny tiny chance that you might be trolled as well as witched.

depends on what school of magic the witch is trained in (red, black, white, blue or green), blue (phantasm) witches do have an anti version of the "lucky" skill but not sure how effective it is or not as i am not a blue witch.

it is likely that the OP is having issues with a witch that follows the green (verdant) tree and accidentally left a OAN (offense against nature, trackable like normal scents by toggling on witch abilities) scent that allows the verdant witch to curse him from the altar.

examples of things that can leave this sort of scent are......

planting trees in the wrong biomes, causing animals to attack one another, feeding your turkey coops with other turkeys, cutting down 20 - 30 trees in an hour or less, building a church in darkness that is deeper than 15.0 and probably other **** to.

The best way it is save some money, buy a doll and make your own witch. When you understand how to be a witch, you will understand how to defend against witches.

Darwoth is well known for hating idiots, something this world has a lot of, educating us in the finer arts of the game in not an uncommon sight.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
