[cut] , it increases the alt storage exploit.

you do realize that the HUGE pile of bodies in boston is from people getting rid of their old "alt vaults" because alt storage is no longer the best thing.

And at the same time alts became much more efficient storage than sheds. Shed can hold 64 hay / herbs / coal. Alt can store 1024.
Alt vaults are gone but not alt storage. People just keep the alts at their base instead of boston

Stop whining about everything and just play the game, maybe you will learn how it works.

This.
It takes far less resources to pump an alt up a little to become a mobile storage unit than to build a shed or cupboard.

at the same time it doesn't take as much biles to loot a leanto as it would to bash a locked shed/chest... assuming i am not the only one that puts locks on every thing still... now that locks are so expensive.

and if blazars/torches are celled off, it would be easier to run up to a leanto, loot it... and run away.
while a shed they would have to stand there and take the hits while bashing it open.
sadly it sounds like a metal chest can now be lifted even with stuff still in it... in the past a metal chest would have been the way to go here since they would have to stand in blazar/torch fire while bashing it.

Yes, because thieves will loot an alt full of hay, coal or mushrooms.

Inactive bases or unprotected with claims. I could counter this argument in a couple of ways, all of them pretty simple.

What are you trying to argue for anyway? It's pretty obvious that alt storage does exist and is pretty efficient of storing stuff.

People usually just dump **** like coal and hay instead of bothering to haul it out and at the point that they are cleaning out **** like coal alts your braziers are disabled and they are just looting at their leisure so it really doesn't matter if it in an alt or a chest. Also since at that point you have probably ported out everything of value you will have plenty of empty storage to fill with all the stuff you keep on your storage alts so that when a raider bashes your locked shed he will still just gut a useless pile of coal or what else you have left behind. If for some reason you value the stuff you keep in a mass alt storage its also that much easier to port it out because its already on an alt.

His posts have been particularly dumb lately, Toorimakun is probably just bucking for a free hat.
