If I ban people for 'new' things I will certainly let you know.

Botting, Account Sharing, and Overly offensive forum activities can still get you banned. Don't do it.

I want to mention, that you could help community to remain "healthy" if you continue to post your ban notifications. I'm continiously warning people I know: "don't do this, it's dangerous, don't do that, if John see u - u dead, be afraid, see this and that link". I have not too much links, you know.
So, if ban information isn't touching server security or personal data safety, please, post it. It WILL be a good warning sign to keep others away from troulbes, and will give bonus points to your game maintaining skills in the eyes of humble players.

These rules are posted, and failing to read them and still log in doesn't make you any less guilty than failing to pay attention to a stop sign on the road and getting caught, or worse, get in a wreck. I'm with JC. This sort of thing doesn't need to be posted. For that matter, the ban thread probably doesn't need to exist, anyway.

A banned post is nothing more than putting someone in the stocks for public ridicule. I realize that the game is set during the 17th century, but aren't was players a bit more advanced than such useless forms of punishment?

The banned posts are useful so that you know why someone isn't responding on the forums. An in game ban list would be similarly useful.

When i read something like that, i think it is better, that the user is banned. *nod nod*

You have been banned for something you did. You must talk to John Carver to work this out. Depending on what it is you did, you may be unbanned or you may not.

shouldnt it then not be renamed to "you have been banned" instead of "Authentication token expired."
