Yes I'll still need to address what happens when people wipe out existing beams next to mine entrances that have previously prevented cave ins.

Is this really such a problem? The entry point to a lower level is in front of the entrance structure. Which means that if cave in occurs and drops rocks on top of the entrance it should still be possible to clear them out (since they are not in the hitbox of the entrance structure). And the cave in itself? Well, you just... found a crack leading to small cavern below, struck it, and caused a little cave in which opened a way down as well as destroyed some stuff around.

Yea, I think its a graphical annoyance at best which is why I don't see the need to hotfix it.

any chance his Majesty would like to buy uncut gems at his stall as some of his humble servants have amassed a large number of these gems and have no use for them, while i am sure his Majersty could use them for funding his many just and needed wars against spain and france.

Maybe he won't, but I know the only reason why we are here in the first place is because the Companies thought there might be gold. Maybe they would love some gems. Ask the Hudson man.
Stumps now remove much easier.
Chopping trees is now faster.

With this new change, tree wall is not viable anymore. Will we be able to put the trees next to each other again for cosmetic purpose?
You thought I quit.

I think trees directly next to each other look 'worse' for cosmetics. Unless of course you use that baby tree thing on the custom clients. But I think that looks horrible and in no way will change the game to support it.

I think you shouldn't restrict players from planting trees wherever they want. But at the same time, trees shouldn't grow up (at least, full size) if they're too close to another trees or objects.

Look at HnH. HnH doesn't force you to plant your trees next to each other, but trees can't reach certain grow stage if they are less then 5-4-3-2-1 tiles far from other objects.

there is no reason to disallow "tree walls" since they can now be cut down far faster than even a split rail can be destroyed when this was ***** up it was because trees were stronger than any existing wall was by a large magnitude, the tile placement restrictions on them get in the way of lots of ****.

Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
