On the stamp mill!

Postby bokido » Sun Feb 22, 2015 2:17 pm

We all now a pick but we also know to be the fastest since digging the rocks than the good slow stamp mill.
So the idea would be to speed up the process of stamp mill and utilize them even more than we say to tear the buolder as boulders, lime, hours etc etc.
I did a test and it would be more appropriate to use the stamp mill that he might get the most from the rocks that you bring in, for example, with the pick I earn only 20 pieces of rock, whereas if I put the stone in the stamp mill gives me 30 pieces of rock and so on, it would be more appropriate and useful to me, and also very consistent with the speed that it is acquiring in the game.
In summary:
- Build a stamp mill now gives you more pieces of stone, lime, Ore compared to dig with the pick.
At first as I had built one I thought it was for this purpose, but right now is not very useful for me or even obsolete

just bring back the old system, where you could insert 5 boulders, so your stamp mill stays full all the time.
right now i wont bother to take ore boulder to stamp, why? since it's faster to cut it myself than drag it to stamp mill, then wait and check in every now and then to fill stamper again.

i dont mind the slow speed, if it could be filled with more boulders and would have bit more storage maybe.

The old system? It was possible to insert multiple boulders in the past?

Agreed as it is now more expensive it should come for more rewards. Triple the storage and allow us to insert more boulders. Maybe at a loss. For example a stone boulder contains 40 stones, if you put it in a stamp mill you might get 30.

I have six stamp mill, are good for a noob, it helps a lot, but as you're pretty self-sufficient pass on second floor and finish slowly to put them in a corner to rot, also because as you say, is the logical thing, it costs a lot, makes much the way it is this

i won't give my head on it, but i believe 3-4-5 years back it was, before boulders got boost. when it was still 5 pieces per boulder, i remember filling 5 boulders to stamp mill so it could get full.

Stamp mills are really useful as is. If it's too slow, just means you should build more of them.
Waiting for a stamp mill to finish is like only having 1 field for crops and complaining about having to wait 3~6 days to rotate it.

It would be nice if they could hold 2 boulders though, Especially with ore boulders only being 10 ore now.

Useful? imagine putting 100 pieces of files in each of your field and had to rely on them alone, I should do 100 stamp mill to have a real advantage? nah! that's not the problem. Should there be changes to be worth to build one, then you remember that it has now become expensive given the utlimo update but I have the impression that john carver we have not yet put an X on the roadmap to treat this aspect, and I hope so.

not nice, i have 12 stamps in my mine standing still, since i choose to cut boulders on my own to save time. even tho i have cart in mine and could easily move boulders around.

Using stamp mills requires some planning. You throw boulders into it so that you can use the ore / stones in few minutes. In the meantime you can do something else
