Dicing
Certian Foods have a flower menu option "Dice", which, when equiped with a Kitchen Knife or Chef Knife, breaks the food into smaller pieces.
Onion ---> 2X Diced Onion
Radishes ----> 2x Chopped Radishes
Carrots -----> 4x Chopped Carrots
Potatos, Peppers, tomato, etc
These items would have very low regen values and can't be gluttoned. There purpose would be mostly for the Soup System.
Kitchen Knife would take wear, Chef Knife (from Mystery Tool Box), would not.
Small Changes
Sauted Onion -- Require Oil, Diced Onions and Frying Pan
Roasted Veggies --- like roasted meat applies to all meats, roasted veggies could apply to more than just the carrot. I'd think at least Roasted Red Bell Peppers
Also can we steam/boil potatos? I haven't tried.
Soup System
This would not be a craft in the traditional sense of things, but more an expiremental process. The basic idea is that a player would fill their pot up with water, and then add foods into it. The result would use up the items in the pot, but the water would be a type of soup which, like tea, could be poured into buckets.
A soup bowl would let you pour soup into the bowl to regen from it or glutton from it.
The soup would fall into several large catagories, like Vegatable Soup, Stew, Chowder, list the made by tag like clothes, but not list the specifc foods used. The soup values would be variable based on the ingredients put in, but some combinations might produce bonuses. Players would have to expirement to find these bonuses, and then if they found something that worked well but since the specifc ingredients are a secret it would encourage towns to recurit Chefs, creating another desirable profession.
I'd imagine that the sugar and spice profeciency or gluttony artifice would give additonal bonuses to the soup.
