Then if indeed artifacts add to the weight of closing (which I haven't checked) shouldn't the weight of those artifacts be considerably reduced? I mean gold buttons shouldn't add more 100 grams right?

Then of course I am throwing out ideas without having made thorough research in game to know what clothes weigh what. I'll do that later if I find the time.

I like this approach. Much better than guesswork.

So it's ok for a common set of cloths to weight 25kg?

I noticed you saying there will be bad things when running around naked, that is good, but what prevents you from lowering both cloth weight and max carry capacity in a balanced way?

I wonder how high this gets, a perfectly made set with maximum slots must weight a ton...

Weird, The few pieces of clothing I wear weigh less than 1kg each. What are you wearing that sums to 25kg?

Have not checked my cloths weight in a few days, might have been changed, but it was something like that, artifices increase the weight considerably iirc.

I investigated the situation. He is simply wearing some of the heaviest clothing in the game, refusing to fully test out the new system before complaining about it.

refusing to fully test out the new system before pushing it to the live server.

I can indeed take a few weeks longer for each patch for further testing.

I can assure you no amount of further testing was going to cause a flat decrease to clothing weights. They are balanced where I want them.

Now that's a typical JC comment...

Go ahead, tell them what a full set of "not that heavy cloths" with full artifices would weight!

It is, for the most part, not the cloths but the artifices that make up most of the weight (as far as I can tell).
You, JC, might really want to look into this before commenting like that, you might find out that it is "slightly" unrealistic, even though I know (un)realistic is only a valid argument if it works for you. ¦]

Except ofc you say it's ok that a few laces and badges add 20kg...
[edit:] Ok, then it is balanced where you want it, I still say it's off, but what does that mean after alll...
