Concerning dehydration in steam distiller. It should be added that leaving a dehydrated product for too long will result in it being destroyed.
For berries it seems that leaving a dehydrated berry for 30 min a steam distiller is enough to destroy it. (Half the time it takes to dehydrate? Does it apply to roses?)

Yeah, you can buy it from the NPC with wallpapers, which is the second on the right, when you're entering the market (iirc).

Unlocks "Sift rubble" action, which must be done over shallow water. That's what I've got from sifting ~30 pieces of rubble:

Gems are uvarovite (the green one) and Dravite

Buildings:

1. Piggy Bank

Can be built only inside a house, liftable, but can't be carried out.

(had recipe before learning metal sifting)

There is a chance to get it from sifting Rubble, it is used in Glass Pane recipe (see glass blowing skill)
