Hm. I do not care about things that may be out to change after the patch, but as I see it will require a lot of work, but it is still possible (moving things out of the neutral territory of the mine on a protective base). But I worry about those things that can not be move to another place. Now in my mine is 6 high purity Turkey Coops, on which work lasts for more than 4 months. And now I see that these Turkey Coops will be on neutral territory, without the possibility to protect them. It's not fair.

ps: i hope also that the mine entrance can be destroyed

Keeping large numbers of animals in a mine seems like a dumb idea anyway they should have die long ago.

Are you saying that turkeys are not in fact animals?

Good attitude. But only people who choose to dig too deep out of greed will be worried about having their mines raided.

How is "diggin deeper" done?

What are the benefits of doing so?

And how many levels are there, 5?

In my opinion it's something like :

Image

Legend:
1-x === Player mine entrance

I ==== Actual mine level aka "basement" it's not connected to any other mine at this floor. After patch low purity iron/coppper??.

II - IV ===== Lower level mine that can connect to other mines but it will take a lot of time. Higher purity iron/copper and probably some other like gold or diamons??

V - The lowest part of mine that easily can connect to other mines. Highest purity of iron/copper and a loot of ca$$$h

So if You don't dig Your mine to lower lvl than first floor it still will be safe to use as basement (if it's possible to make something safe in Salem :P)

PS: Sorry for that low lvl screen but i always Was better in programing than making graphic

I also suggested a similar mechanic. But John wrote:

And besides, we can not forget that he loves to spice(tears) for Salem players. And I'm not saying that's bad. Just has to be a way to prevent tears. And not just a dead end.

In my understanding it will look like i wrote before.

Only if You dig deeper in Your currently mine it will be insecure. At highest lvl it won't connect to other mines. But even deeper it will be mined then it will be possible to connect 2-x mines together.

Gold is probably from panning, I don't think there will be gold-ore. There seems to be 3 types of iron + new tools so I currently I am leaning towards purity being a part of the refining process.

Why do you think more than 2 levels? Seems unnecessary to me, though not unwelcome.
