I removed the "bug" with respawning at a darkness homestead and added rats, wishpooshes and hydrukeys as darkness monsters. Anything I missed ?

Odd, I couldn't see it last night, sorting both by name and criminality. I can see it now, though

Edit: For some reason my browser (Opera) isn't showing Badge of Ruin in the artifacts list. Chrome and Internet Explorer work just fine.

I use Opera and it is on the list when I check. That is quite an odd error.
